The Los Angeles Clippers made a bold move in signing Russell Westbrook from the buyout market.
He comes to LA after spending 52 games with the Los Angeles Lakers this year.
Despite being a shell of his former self, Westbrook can still contribute to winning.
Friday night was his first game a part of the Clippers, and the fans showed him some love when he was announced.

In what turned into the second-highest-scoring game in NBA history, the Clippers lost 176-175.
Westbrook made his impact felt for the Clippers though, he recorded 17 points and 14 assists in 39 minutes.
Some fans even believe that it was the Lakers who were holding Westbrook back.

There is no question Westbrook has struggled to find a home in recent years.
The Clippers are his fifth team in as many seasons, and his erratic play has brought plenty of scrutiny toward him.
But, some fans believe that the Clippers might be the best fit for the former MVP.
Yea he’s a great fit with the clippers

The rest of this season will be key toward where Westbrook ends up next year.
The Clippers can benefit from having a player like Westbrook because he is always available.
In a league where plenty of players focus on “load management,” Westbrook always takes the floor.
Both Kawhi Leonard and Paul George are often injured, so they are tough to rely on.
Even though Westbrook is no longer elite, at least he plays in games.
It will be interesting to see how the Clippers perform with the future Hall of Fame point guard.
